This is an exploration with Peter Limberg about sensemaking and the culture war. It’s an adventure into the strange world of the modern zeitgeist: a take on the crises which comprise it, the memetic tribes which populate it, and some thoughts on emergent responses to it.
About Peter Limberg & the Intellectual Explorers Club Podcast
Peter Limberg is host and producer of the Intellectual Explorers Club and co-author of the viral article titled ‘The Memetic Tribes Of Culture War 2.0’. I reached out to Peter some months ago and realised quickly that he’s on the pulse of a growing, de-centralised group of thinkers and seekers who realise the importance of developing and optimising styles of communication capable of holding, discerning, and ultimately crafting terms and questions of genuine benefit for the current cultural challenges at hand.
Its mission is to promote the exploration of thought which expands and challenges our current map of reality. We are not denying that some ideas may be more practical, moral, or truthful than others. We are simply traversing through the ideosphere with curiosity, open-mindedness, and intellectual humility. Club members will have their own opinions, and may hold onto them faithfully, but while exploring we are performative agnostics. Temporarily suspending judgement to see an idea with maximum charity.
