O.G. Rose, often in the form of Daniel, has become a core part of the Voicecraft Network, and we are deeply grateful for the time, energy, kindness and support both he and Michelle share. As a pair and family on a farm in Virginia, they truly are remarkable people who enrich the world’s of the communities they participate in.

Daniel has participated in many Voicecraft podcasts, most notably the Philosophy of Lack series as well as E66 – The Philosophy of Voice with Tim Adalin.

BIO:

O.G. Rose is a pen name consisting of Michelle’s maiden, middle, and their shared last name. While at the University of Virginia, Rose spent several years working collaboratively with other artists at Eunoia, a creative community Rose helped develop in Charlottesville, Virginia. Rose now lives on a farm, manages a wedding venue named Mead Lake, operates Frozen Glory Photography, and teaches piano using visuals from Rose’s Pattern Method.

A finalist for the 2020 UNO Press Lab Prize and 46th Pushcart Nominee, Rose’s creative works appear at The Write Launch, Allegory Ridge, Streetlight Magazine, Ponder Review, Iowa Review online, The William and Mary Review, Assure Press, Toho Journal online, West Trade Review, ellipsis, Poydras Review, O:JA&L, Burningword, and Broken Pencil.

This Open Session also welcomed Voicecraft contributors Adriana Forte & Tyler Hollett for the middle dialogue with O.G. Rose.

Adriana is a mother, wife, friend, collaborator, community dreamer and creatrix, women’s mysteries teacher, writer, coach and facilitator.  She has appeared in several Voicecraft Network podcasts as well as E67| Approaching the Mystery, the first in a series of podcasts on the relationship between the feminine and the masculine.

Tyler is a father of two and researcher of whatever seems necessary to support the healthy formation of communities, online and offline. Tyler has been involved in several Voicecraft podcasts as well as the live event film titled Culture & The Meaning of Life.
