Underground Philosophy | The Mystery of Consciousness

This event took place August 16. Watch the live recording below.

THEME FOR AUGUST 16:

The Mystery of Consciousness.

What does it mean to be conscious? What is the relationship between consciousness and the unconscious? What is the connection between consciousness and conscience?

Join philosopher Tim Adalin, founder and host of Voicecraft, along with invited and impromptu voices for an evening of dialogue with mystery, metaphysics, depth psychology and social philosophy. Guests presently include philosopher, counsellor and independent researcher Cameron Duffy.

Cameron has spent his adult lifetime exploring the nature of being, healing, and human possibility through the transformation of consciousness. He discovered the non-dual potential of conscious experience during his early adult development and has been focused on the scientific, alchemical, and embodied philosophies that bind the nature of consciousness with the meaning making journey. Cam is otherwise dedicated to re-vitalising modern psychiatric culture and psychedelic integration by synergizing an awareness of the sacred with harmonic modes of relationship and practice.

Underground Philosophy is where real conversation cotinues.

Here we listen for signal beneath the noise, repetition, and constriction of modern life. This is a meeting ground to initiate a field of interaction where spirited adults gather to experience depth and vitality.

Guests might be well known or influential. They might be of rare integrity but known to just a few. They might be provocative, or simply sincere in their care for real value.

When you come to Underground Philosophy, you come not for any name in particular but because you recognise the need for a context where we pocket our phones, slow down time, and keep the overton open with courage, respect, and intelligence.
