E79| Dreams & Psyche in the Age of Technology | Voicecraft Live V

Filmed on Friday 9th of June in a live community event, this dialogue between Jungian dream researcher and clinical psychologist Fiona Henrich and philosopher Tim Adalin explores themes of symbol, healing, prophecy, morphic resonance, science, technology and the refuge of the dreaming psyche in the age of technology.

 
  • Clinical Psychologist, PhD Doctoral Canditate investigating Dreaming

    Fiona Henrich has worked in private practice and mental health for 10 years as a registered Clinical Psychologist. Currently she is a PhD Doctoral Candidate, investigating Dreaming as an adaptive mechanism for Trauma recovery.

    A Jungian Philosophy Honours Graduate under the guidance of prolific Jungian writer and La Trobe Professor David Tacey, Fiona was awarded the Wirrianda Philosophy prize in 2004 and a full research scholarship from Rotary Health for her PhD research in 2017. She has also been granted a Presenter position of her PhD at the inaugural International Association for the Study of Dreams conference in Oregon, US.

    Fiona has been integrating the Shadow and Collective Unconscious Morphogenic Field information since her plant medicine spiritual awakening experience almost 22 years ago. Fiona has a keen interest in experiential applications of psychedelics, theoretical models of emergent phenomenology and utilising dream interpretation to heal from PTSD. She is currently writing a book on merging the Scientific discipline with Spiritual teachings to account for the mechanisms and nature of the Collective Unconscious.

  • Tim is the producer of Voicecraft. He is a philosopher whose work focuses on the relation between participation and transformation, and integrates metaphysical and scientific modes of understanding. The primary medium of this work lives in embodied relationality with friends, family, and peers. He is concerned with the vital connections between psyche, culture, and nature, and is developing networks and communities that support wiser contexts for education, contribution, and belonging.

    We create media that seeks to add value to the commons, with interests in the fundamental dynamics of psyche, culture, and nature.
